The natural fibres and materials used in Design Mobel bodyfit mattresses work together to create a cleaner, drier and healthier sleep environment. Choose from 2 mattress designs, bodyfit Breathe (our 100% natural latex mattress) and bodyfit Renew (our pocketspring & latex combination). Bodyfit mattresses work in conjunction with bodyfit Support our unique flexi slat technology that works to cradle your body from head to toe, independent of your partner.  This 2-in-1 support unit absorbs movement, ensuring the other side of the bed remains absolutely undisturbed. If you are looking for the beauty and strength of timber, then Design Mobel has the answer. They have a particular affinity for heli harvested New Zealand Rimu and Tawa, both excellent timbers for making top quality furniture.The wood grain and colour variations on each piece of furniture is unique, offering individual character and interest to each and every furniture and frame.

As part of our committment to the environment, at all times we source our timber from sustainable harvesting operations (a policy we have upheld well before it became compulsory to do so). Sustainable harvest means the rate at which timber is heli harvested is geared to the forest capacity to replace them

The Design Mobel Finish includes matching of colour and grain in the furniture, all products are sealed and lacquered (no artifical stain used).

 Rimu (dacrydium Compressinum) This is one of the best known and most readily identified New Zealand trees. Risum is a great furniture timber due to its density and warm natural colours. The timber varies from dark to reddish bornw to yellow with a streaky, featured appearance. It is a timber that will admired and cherished

Tawa (Belschmedia tawa) Tawa is a boardleaf hardwood of the lowland forest and has been used for furniture and decorative purposes for many generations
