King Single Bed Size

While they’re often more expensive than the Long Single sizes, a King Single mattress can be better for the budget in the long run as they add a bit of width to the bed. When your child gets older, it means they don’t grow out of the bed quite as fast. You may even want to consider the Double sizes for the same reason. Since a King Single is the same length as the Queen and King, most adults do fit comfortably on it, though it is definitely too small for couples. It’s great for small spaces, such as studios or small bedrooms, for sleepouts, and on daybeds.

Make sure to check the dimensions of your room and have a thought-out plan for how you are going to move your new mattress into its assigned room. It is crucial to be aware of any doors that the mattress will need to fit through and stairwells before reaching the room when moving inside.

Keep in mind that mattress sizes vary from country to country so if you have an imported bed base make sure to measure it prior to purchasing a new mattress. For the perfect night's sleep, it’s important that your mattress fits perfectly on top of your bed frame.
