Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Sleepyhead Chiropractic HDX Reflex different from other Chiropractic mattresses?
What makes the Sleepyhead Chiropractic HDX Reflex different from other Chiropractic mattresses?
The Chiropractic HDX Reflex combines multiple support technologies to create one of the most advanced mattresses in the Chiropractic range. At its core is Sleepyhead's Torquezone® HDX support system, which is enhanced by a central layer of mini pocket springs for additional comfort and support where your body needs it most.
This dual support design helps deliver targeted support through key pressure areas while maintaining excellent spinal alignment throughout the night. Combined with advanced comfort materials and temperature-regulating technologies, the HDX Reflex is designed for sleepers seeking both premium comfort and advanced postural support, and represents the latest evolution of Chiropractic sleep technology.
How does the dual support system in the HDX Reflex work?
How does the dual support system in the HDX Reflex work?
The HDX Reflex features a unique dual support system that combines the Torquezone® HDX spring system with a layer of firmer mini pocket springs positioned through the centre of the mattress.
The Torquezone® HDX support system provides the foundational support required for healthy spinal alignment, while the mini pocket springs respond independently to body movement and pressure. Together, these support systems help provide enhanced comfort, targeted support and improved weight distribution across the mattress.
This innovative combination creates a supportive sleep surface that adapts to your body while helping reduce pressure points and maintain comfortable sleeping posture throughout the night.
Is the Sleepyhead Chiropractic HDX Reflex a good mattress for hot sleepers?
Is the Sleepyhead Chiropractic HDX Reflex a good mattress for hot sleepers?
Yes. The HDX Reflex includes multiple technologies specifically designed to help regulate sleeping temperature and create a more comfortable sleep environment.
A surface layer of KülKōte technology helps absorb and release heat energy to support a more consistent sleeping temperature throughout the night. Originally developed for use in high-performance applications, KülKōte works alongside Dry-Tech fibres that help wick moisture away from the body.
The mattress also features Fusion Titanium memory foam, which combines gel and titanium-infused technology to improve thermal performance while delivering pressure-relieving comfort. Together, these materials help create a cooler, drier and more comfortable sleeping experience for many sleepers.
Which Sleepyhead Chiropractic HDX Reflex comfort level is best for my sleeping position?
Which Sleepyhead Chiropractic HDX Reflex comfort level is best for my sleeping position?
The Sleepyhead Chiropractic HDX Reflex is available in three comfort options, allowing you to choose the feel that best suits your sleeping style and comfort preferences while still benefiting from the same advanced support technologies.
The HDX Reflex 4 offers a Medium Firm feel and is often preferred by back sleepers and stomach sleepers who enjoy a more supportive sleep surface with less sinkage.
The HDX Reflex 7 features a Cushion Medium feel, providing a balance of support and pressure relief that suits a wide range of sleeping positions, including combination sleepers who move throughout the night.
The HDX Reflex 9 has an Ultra Plush feel and includes more generous cushioning layers. This option is particularly popular with side sleepers, as the softer comfort layers help cushion the shoulders and hips while maintaining the support benefits of the Torquezone® HDX system.
No matter which comfort level you choose, each HDX Reflex model combines advanced support technology, pressure-relieving comfort layers and temperature-regulating features to help create a comfortable and supportive sleeping environment.
Can the Chiropractic HDX Reflex mattress be used on an adjustable base?
Can the Chiropractic HDX Reflex mattress be used on an adjustable base?
No. The Chiropractic HDX Reflex mattress has been specifically engineered with an advanced support system designed to provide targeted support for your back, neck and shoulders. To deliver this level of support, the mattress has a more rigid construction that is designed to remain stable on a standard bed base.
Because of this specialised design, the Chiropractic HDX Reflex is not recommended for use with an adjustable bed base, as it is not intended to flex with the movement of the base.
If you're looking for a mattress to pair with an adjustable base, our team can help recommend a more suitable Sleepyhead range designed for adjustable compatibility.
